RMW Archive is a tiny Windows app that quietly saves the public forum to your own computer, so you can keep reading it long after the site goes dark. Point it at the forum, pick how much to grab, and let it run.

Like the real thing

This isn't a folder of raw HTML. RMW Archive rebuilds every thread offline: avatars, formatting, smilies, quotes, spoilers, media embeds and the full reaction footers, right where they belong. Browsing your archive feels like the forum never left.

Save your own corner of the forum

RMW Archive can archive a member's entire profile, yours included. That's the header with your avatar, banners, trophies and medals; your whole About page; every post on your wall and the comments under them; and all of your posts from across the forum, gathered in one place.

A personal time capsule of your years here, and you can do the same for friends whose work you want to remember.

And everything else

• Forums, threads and every post
• Reactions (who reacted, and with what), smilies and attachments
• Optionally, a verbatim raw-HTML copy of every page it fetches

Polite by design

One connection, a delay between every request (10s by default, honoring the site's robots.txt), public pages only, nothing sneaky. It's resumable and deduplicated, so you can stop and pick up later without re-downloading a thing.

Free, and will be open-source. Built native with Rust + Tauri (tiny, no Electron bloat). Your archive is just files on disk that you fully own, and updating the app never touches them.
